Dr. Patrick Tran is one of the only dermatologic surgeons in the Central Valley of California with postgraduate training in Mohs micrographic surgery and the author of Burn-In: A Doctor’s Guide to Finding Happiness, Avoiding Burnout, and Catching FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early).
He graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, and has published articles in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including JAMA Dermatology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and the Journal of Dermatological Science.
He has delivered presentations nationally at the American Academy of Dermatology and regionally at the Washington D.C. Dermatological Society and plastic surgery meetings.
